Use the DTS Social Security Benefits Planner to:

• See what happens to your benefits if you retire early or late,
• See what happens to your benefits if you increase or reduce your salary,
• See what happens to you and your spouse's benefits if you start paying your spouse a salary, or
• See if the Social Security Administration is paying the correct retirement benefit.

Accounting firms and financial planners have been using the DTS Social Security Benefits Planner since 1994. Those companies use the program to estimate a person's future Social Security benefits and to make sure that the Social Security Administration (SSA) is paying the correct amount now. When the program is used to make sure the SSA is paying the correct amount, it is common for DTS Social Security Benefits Planner to be within $2 of what the SSA is paying.

The SSA can mail you your earnings history and a rough estimate of your of some of your benefits. That report is called the PEBES report. This is excellent information, and it is free!
